Rabbit Ranch Pinot Gris, being a mutation of Pinot Noir, revels in the Central Otago conditions that suit Pinot Noir so beautifully - a long slow ripening period is desirable, with cool nights and warm days as the Autumn harvest approaches. The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Gris has a mineral acidity backbone and an off dry finish that gives the wine a delicious structure and refreshing style.

Selaks Essentials range is made in an approachable style highlighting the fresh vibrant fruit character of each variety. Suitable for all occasions, delivering excellent quality and consistency. This wine has intense fruit flavours of pear and spice notes combine in a clean, slightly off-dry finish.

The palate is full and generous, sweet tropical fruits combine with characteristic pinot gris texture creating mouth filling length. Pinot gris is delicious sipped solo or enjoyed with seared or grilled fish and simple oven-roasted chicken.

Refreshingly lighter in alcohol at 9.5%, Wither Hills Early Light Pinot Gris is deliciously off dry, delivering classic aromas of grapefruit and pear with a spicy apple character.Fruit for our Early Light range of wines is harvested early to capture optimum flavour ripeness whilst reducing the levels of naturally occurring sugar. This lower level of sugar means less alcohol is converted resulting in a lighter in alcohol style of wine.
